Types of Actions

Characters can perform more than one of the same action per turn. For example, a particularly vicious attacker might hack again and again repeatedly at a target.

Declaring Actions

Players do not have to declare how many actions they'll be performing during the round. Combat is instinctive, flowing and creative, changing swiftly from second to second.

Performing Multiple Actions

However, performing multiple actions does become more difficult due to factors of balance, speed and concentration.

The 1st action is always at no penalty, the 2nd action becomes Demanding (-4) and a 3rd action becomes Tough (-6).

This also allows characters to react to attacks, even if they did not state they were taking more than one action to start with, and removes the cumbersome 'abort to dodge' rule.
