The stylist strikes his opponent's hand with a sharp punch or kick, sending any held object flying through the air or skittering across the floor. The martial artist rolls Dexterity + Fight to strike (the target may dodge this roll). If successful, he rolls Dexterity + Fight again but adds the victory points from his previous roll. These successes are then contested by the opponent's Strength + Melee roll. Each victory point left in the stylist's favor indicates 1meter that the disarmed object is knocked away.
Unlike gracious fencers, few martial artists feel any compunction to allow their opponent to re-arm themselves.
