Known Worlds Vyrolakos are almost always aristocratic lords cursed for their hubris with thin blood, and they usually suck all of the bodily fluids, leaving only water (on wet planets) or just leaving a desiccated husk (on dry planets). They are likely to be very thin and frail and have pale skin. They also often captivate their prey by singing them into complacence. They are only active at night (in their pride they cannot bear the sight of the sun, which is undeniably greater than they are).
